Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

Should this technically be a dessert? Probably.
Do I eat it as a breakfast on the regular? Absolutely.

Notes:

This is a slightly healthier alternative for when you're craving something fudgy and chocolatey that can easily make for a filling breakfast, snack, or dessert. Plus it's a gluten-free and vegan cake!

You can also add different toppings if you want a less heavy peanut butter taste; try replacing with a spoonful of fruit preserves, jam, or whatever else your heart desires.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp dark cocoa powder

Steps

  1. Mash up the banana in a large mug.
  2. Mix in the cocoa powder.
  3. Mix in 2 tbsp of the peanut butter.
  4. Create a small divet in the top of the mixture and place the remaining tbsp of peanut butter in the divet.
  5. Microwave on high for 1.5-2 minutes or until it reaches a fudgy cake texture (exact time depends on your microwave).
  6. Let cool for a couple of minutes so the molten peanut butter doesn't burn the roof of your mouth, then enjoy!
